This is an AWESOME heater, easy to put together, easy to use, and gives all the heat you could want in cool weather! I came online again to buy a second one but it's out of stock!!! Also, the price at Walmart is the LOWEST I can find. The highest is $232!!! I'll wait until Walmart has it back in stock. My in-laws want one as well so I'll be buying a couple more of these! This was our first opportunity to use it, and I know we'll be using it much more as fall is arriving.
I have a small deck on the upperfloor of my home. The smaller Uniflame heater is perfect for those cool, foggy summer nights. the hexagonal base is very stable. I shopped around and found Walmart's online price was much better than the competitors. The quality of the heater is also superior to some I saw that were priced higher.
We have had one of these for over a year. We've enjoyed ours so much we bought this one for a Christmas gift this year. Ours is made by the same company. This one is just a newer model. We use ours out on the screened porch when the weather turns cold. Even though it is a "tabletop" heater, we just put it on the floor between us and it keeps us very comfortable. It puts out great heat, allowing us to enjoy sitting out there year round. Of course, we do live in the south so our winters are not brutal. Assembly is easy and unit is sturdy and well made.
I bought this for an outside patio for "Happy Hour" it works great on the center of the table, unless the wind is blowing then only the person sitting on the side the wind is blowing to receives the heat. Otherwise it radiates a nice circle of heat around the table.
Excellent price and excellent product. We shopped online for this outdoor heater and the prices were double elsewhere for the same model number. We have a 10x10 gazebo and this heater sits on the floor and heats up the entire area in a few minutes and we get about two weeks worth of heat from a 20# propane tank using it in the evenings. Very well constructed and is packaged extremely well for shipping.
This heater is perfect for cool nights outside. It was about 60 degrees and I had it on low. This model also uses the propane cylinders found in the camping aisle, which is really convenient. Highly recommended.
We just purchased this heater at an awesome price! Easy to put together and set-up. Heats the area around our table on the deck very nicely.. Only problem I had was that the 1 lb cylinder froze up one night when it was used for an extended period of time.. Turned off for about 5 minutes and restarted without any more problems. Would recommend to anyone wishing to take a little of the chill out of the early fall nights..
After researching online for a tabletop heater, I decided on this product because of the beautiful design, and good ratings it was receiving from a broad range of customers. I also was impressed with the fact that it provides an option to use the larger or smaller propane canisters. I am on the whole very happy with this product, the only draw back I see is that the small propane canisters do not last very long, and following the instructions to remove the canisters when not in use seemed to hasten the propane leakage.
This patio heater works very well down to it's stated limit of 40 degrees. It will also keep you warm enough down to around 35 degrees. It works better the closer it is to the propane tank (within reason). The heat the tank gets seems to make it (the tank) produce more gas. If you want more heat at lower temps or over a wider area, get a more powerful version. This is my second one. The first one wore out from using it, at least, every weekend (during the cool season) for several years.
PRODUCT WORKS, BUT YOU MUST BE SITTING WITH-IN ONE FOOT OF THE HEAT OR IT IS USELESS. I HAVE IT IN A GAZEBO SITTING IN THE MIDDLE ON THE TABLE AND YOU HAVE TO GET RIGHT NEXT TO IT FOR ANY WARMTH.
